Industrial oil I-20A is a general-purpose lubricant obtained by selective refining of low-sulfur and sour crudes. The product base is a distillate, with sulfur content not exceeding 1%. The oil contains no additives. Oil I-20A is most widely used in hydraulic systems of industrial equipment, as well as in construction, road, and other machinery operating outdoors.
Characteristics:
• Kinematic viscosity at 40 °C — 29–35 mm²/s.
• Acid number — max 0.05 mg KOH/g oil.
• Ash content — max 0.005%.
• Sulfur content in oils from sour crudes — max 1.1%.
• Mechanical impurities — none.
• Water content — traces.
• Density at 20 °C — max 890 kg/m³.
• Pour point — max –15 °C.
• Color on Colorimeter of Dark Petroleum Product (CNT) — max 2.0.
• Flash point, open cup — min 200 °C.
Applications:
• Use in assemblies of industrial machinery and mechanisms: rolling mills, metal-cutting machine tools, fans, forging and pressing equipment, textile machines, pumps, etc.;
• Reducing friction between surfaces under low pressure in lightly and moderately loaded gear drives, as well as in sliding and rolling guides;
• Use in cases where friction occurs in open pairs with large oil fill volumes and high fluid losses due to evaporation;
• Use as base oils in the production of preservative and protective compounds, as well as formulations with specialized properties.
