Industrial oil I-40A is a general-purpose oil, distillate or a blend of distillate with residual oil, from selectively refined sour and low-sulfur crudes. It is used as a working fluid in hydraulic systems of machine tools, automatic lines, and presses, for lubricating lightly and moderately loaded gear drives, rolling and sliding guides of machine tools where specialized oils are not required, and other mechanisms. Contains no additives.
