MS-8 Bashneft (Aviation Oil)

MS-8P is the most widely used petroleum-based oil with a package of high-performance additives. Produced from West Siberian crudes and blends of West Siberian and Pre-Ural crudes. Intended for gas turbine engines of subsonic and supersonic aircraft where the oil temperature at the engine outlet does not exceed 150 °C. Also used in marine gas turbine installations and gas pumping units.

Physico-chemical properties:
• Kinematic viscosity at 50 °C — 8.22 mm²/s, at –40 °C — 3211 mm²/s;
• Acid number — 0.02 mg KOH/g;
• Flash point, open cup — 168 °C;
• Pour point — –55 °C.
