Description

Applications:
Polyalphaolefin engine oils PAO are petroleum products synthesized from petroleum gases through deep processing. It is synthetic, highly refined, and belongs to Group IV base oils.

Advantages include high thermal stability, ability to operate under high loads, no coking or evaporation, which contributes to extended oil change intervals. The main feature of this oil is its stability in extreme conditions — it can operate at high temperatures and does not lose its characteristics even at low temperatures, ensuring easy start-up and lubrication in cold weather conditions.

However, PAO base oil also has some disadvantages. It is more expensive, and not all types of additives are soluble in it.

It is widely used in the production of lubricants and high-technology greases where high durability and reliability are required.
