Base oil SN-650 "Bashneft" is a product produced from petroleum feedstock using a technology comprising selective refining, dewaxing, and hydrofinishing processes.
Properties:
• High viscosity index. The viscosity changes less with temperature than other base lubricating oils. This property makes it suitable for lubricants used in extreme temperature conditions.
• Low aromatic content. This makes the oil environmentally safe and reduces the risk of skin irritation for workers handling it.
• Good oxidation stability. The oil is resistant to degradation when exposed to oxygen and high temperatures.
Applications: Base oil SN-650 is used as feedstock for commercial oils of various applications (engine, industrial, and others). The oil is also used in the production of transformer oils, metalworking fluids, and other specialty lubricants.
