SN-80 (Group I)

Base oil SN-80 is a product of petroleum feedstock refining. It is used as feedstock for the production of industrial, engine, transmission, and other lubricating oils, metalworking fluids (coolants), as well as a working fluid in hydraulic systems.

Characteristics of SN-80:
• Kinematic viscosity at 100 °C — in the range of 2.8–3.5 mm²/s;
• Carbon residue — max 0.03%;
• Acid number — max 0.008 mg KOH per 1 g oil;
• Ash content — max 0.005%;
• Flash point, open cup — min 170 °C;
• Pour point — max –15 °C;
• Sulfur mass fraction — max 0.1%;
• Density at 15 °C — max 880 kg/m³;
• Autoignition temperature — min 165 °C.

Appearance: homogeneous transparent liquid.

Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacture.
